The penalty Barnes earned for Burnley

Penalty or not?

He's been kicked on the leg but not enough to bring him down. Then he takes another step and falls over.

I'd be upset if that was given against us.

On the other hand he has been kicked on the leg which is a foul? Pretty sure it wouldn't have been given though if he hadn't dived.

In the slow-mo you can see Barnes appealing and sort of celebrating as he lands. Everyone knew it was a penalty. That said we were lucky in the first half when Gray kicked an Arsenal player in the penalty area, anywhere else on the pitch and it would have been a foul.

Obviously gutted to have lost in the way we did, thought we'd grabbed a point. Bearing in mind we had three centre backs and Vokes back for the free kick leading to the penalty I hoped we'd be able to defend it.

We don't play Palace at theirs till the 29th April, quite a while away. I imagine Sam will have sorted them out by then.
