I'll be looking out for our stand!!!!
If the wind starts blowing or it rains listen to the Yanks moan.
The Open championship is the only golf contest worth watching.
Like it says,it's open.
None of your US Masters rubbish where you can't play if they don't want you to.
The conditions are the same everyday also.
Yawn,yawn.

wherever the money is
I have put money on the following at each way with sporting odds who give you your money back if they finish 6th
David Duval 500/1
Mark Calcavecchia 350/1
Thomas Levet 150/1
Ian Poulter 100/1
Miguel Angel Jimenez 80/1
and last but not least Retief Goosen 22/1

I know that apart from the Goose all the others are longshots but at each way on those odds it is worth a flutter.

Got a coulpe of quid e/w on Olazabel at 100/1 (quarter odds, top 5). He's ticking over nicely at -3.

Bloody ridiculous. Glad I went for a few e/w's, absolutely pointless backing anyone else to win this thing.

The man is human after all... bogey on 13th after visiting one of the Coffin bunkers.

6 under... with Luke Donald and Retief Goosen on 4 under.

What a great start to THE Open.

Another good round by Luke Donald, our best hope I think.

I don't know about you, but it makes me mad to watch the Open and see my seat, MY SEAT from Withdean, being used by a bunch of old farts for a sporting event with high ticket prices, poor spectator facilities, no cover for the long suffering fans from the wind and rain, an atmosphere thinner than a Monday morning on Mars, punctuated only by the occasional round of polite applause and the odd grumble from an overweight pensioner in Row S that the players aren't what they used to be.

Oh, hang on...
