How can you have a concert with only one hit record? Which, the audience will only know the three lines featured on the Vodafone advert.

Anyone who claims they were no more than one-hit wonders (and lest we forget, Another Girl another Planet wasn't exactly a "hit" in 1978 anyway) obviously hasn't listened to the searing beauty of their records. The first two albums would both feature in my all-time top 20. Possibly the most underrated band of that whole era.
Peter Perrett was (is) one of the greatest songwriters ever, and certainly the best composer of love songs from the entire punk/new wave generation.
Rumour has it his voice is better than ever now he's "clean"...
But having said that I bet the buggers won't be playing anywhere near me...

They certainly filled modest venues in the late 70's/very early 80's at a time I recall that U2 were having to give away first drink free to get more people into a gig.

Saw them in a (nearly) full Rainbow, one Saturday Night Beneath the Plastic Palm Trees. (Bonus point for anyone guessing one of the support bands).

They were also (briefly) known as "The Buzzards (from Leyton)"...
19 & Mad and Saturday Night Beneath the Plastic Palm Trees are great tunes. As are Sharp Young Men, British Justice, Disco Romeo, We Make a Noise...
And of course (altogether now):
"No dry ice or flying pigs,
At a Leyton Buzzards gig..."
