Its also worth noting that we hear all the time from fans of different clubs about how their chairman/owners are minted and have wealth in the billions. Swindon & Palace are two that immediately spring to mind, I recall Swindon fans on here gobbing off about their owner being richer than Bloom etc etc until Bloom actually showed the cash and Fitton eventually buggered off and left Swindon. Palace too are always on here spouting crap about the combined billionaire wealth of their owners but still don't really have a pot to piss in. Wealth is nothing until they open their wallets and put hard cash into the club, something few chairman ever really do.
