Agree with BrightonBird. Zesh turned it on in the last half. Robinson. What a find. Our youth prgramme looks to be producing the goods.

Kipers. Fantastic. It was one of those games we had to win, but we did go to sleep a couple of times and he pulled of to magnificent saves.

I just hope not too many oposition managers were watching.

Marvellous scenes.
We won at a canter really, but Forest Green looked a useful outfit for a non league side. They had plenty of fight and looked organised.

Carpenter and Rehman didn't really click last night and Jones had a bit of a mare as well. Still.... Robinson was different gravy. I know he is young, but he can play. He offers a similar threat as Knight does with pace and trickery and his movement off the ball is top drawer.

Kuipers is definitely No1 in my book. Two world class saves kept us from extra time. Good crowd tonight as well.

Couple of super saves by Kuipers. Few too many pies for their 'keeper.
McPhee did really well for the goal, and Jake looked good when he came on.
Not a great performance but job done, and into the hat for the next round.

I don't know how many of the bigger sides are drawn at home in Rd 1, but I wouldn't mind betting that'll be one of the biggest crowds in the round. I think there were quite a few first timers there last night, there were certainly faces around me that I didn't recognise. Maybe a lot of season ticket holders gave their tickets to other people who can't normally get in?

Well done Jakey - years from now, when he's scored a hatful, those of us who saw his first will be able to say 'I was there'.

utter rubbish and a rip off to season tick holders spoke with some young kiddy must been about 14/15 said he works hard paper round think was to save for his season ticket then his mates get in for a fiver - that cant be right 24 games divide by £too much for a seaosn and your entry last night cost MORE than a 'casual' admissison. Its an insult. FG (no connection with the genius) had several chances matched by good saves but they were poor very poor were they not in Crawley league not so long ago ? Albion shold won by at least 5-0, 6-0 but our passing was again a let down and some players out there are being carried. Watson gott a go Mayo im losing patience, Jones past his sell by date its testimony to Butters that he looks the quality when others are so poor. Hartry didnt look up for it the tournamnet is a joke and Bob the Builder is the clown why take Knight off most dangerous likely to score was not being hacked about (thank u FG) we were only 1-0 and we took him off why coz we dont take the cup seriously its an insult to the fans of boith teams. Ok Jake did well but thats NOT THE POINT! You play your best teamn all the time no exceptions. Well done FG support couldve closed my eyes looked across the south and could easily imagined we had no support. The whole village mustve been here! Does anyone realy care if we progress after that testimant from the club? Would you bother going to Cardiff would you pay good money to watch a lacklustre performance like that again? Sorry but can do better much better. We need a proiper manager and soon bob the builder is becoming a part time clown with that sorts half time team talk where was the passion the drive the commitment the will to win the celebration i dont think most those players even wanted to play last night thats makes me sick!

He has some good points though:

1. We couldn't pass - it was a terrible match to watch

2. We should have won by more, or at least played better. They are a few divisions below us, and didn't look that out of place.

3. Bob Booker as a manager? No I don't think he is the one for us. Also we don't seem to be playing as well since he has been in charge. He knows the players very well, but does he have their respect?

I think Booker has the respect of every single player, but I dont think he will be the right person to lead us, get a good manager who knows the lower leagues eg Dowie and let Booker go back to training the players where he has been such an asset to our success.

saying FG F**** off is hardly very sporting is it after all the whole village got on the mii-bus to support the team which is more than you can say about the empty seats in the home section never seen so many in the Northa dnthe gaps in the South too !!

well i thought the FG Rovers fans sung up well so maybe they were high on drink dunno, had a few cans of shandy before the game myself didnt quite get me singing though, think the dismal display from the players didnt help , call that entertainment i think watching paint dry is almost more exciting!
