Only problem is that the BBC do not seem to have commentary on the game and instead there is the Grimsby game

I wonder if they were relying on the World commentary too ???

Oh now I've read the line up for Forest Green and that's just not fair! Oh come on now, fair play. No that's just not on. We should of had a man off from the very start. They have Moralee in their starting line up! lol

Leon Knight took his goal tally to 11 and 16-year-old debutant Jake Robinson also scored as Brighton booked a place in round two of the LDV Vans Trophy.
Former Chelsea striker Knight struck on 35 minutes from close range after Chris McPhee's pinpoint far post cross.

Knight later gave way to Robinson who, at 16 years 355 days, became Albion's youngest ever goalscorer when he wrapped things up a minute from time.

Newhaven-born Robinson tapped in after Nathan Jones' cross.

Forest Green worked hard to frustrate the Seagulls early on.

They threatened midway through the second half when a low 25-yard free-kick from Denny Ingram was saved at the foot of the post by Dutch keeper Michel Kuipers.

Kuipers also turned away a low shot from midfielder Martin Foster before substitute Robinson rounded off Brighton's fifth successive home win.

A very good interview by young Jake on SCR. He sounds a lot more mature than 16. Well done

Considering we are top of division 2, we played terribly. Turned round when Jake came on. Zesh was non-existant and we need to sort out midfield.

All credit to Forest Green and their supporters though - the team were strong and the fans were loud.:clap2:

The game was a bit pants, but we still won 2-0, never really looked in danger. Kuipers 2 fantastic saves - yet again.
We gonna win the van, were gonna win the van and now your gonna believe us...etc....etc

Didn't he play at Middlesbrough or was I imagining it? And he was born in Brighton. Otherwise quite a good report :shootself

Yes he came on for 20 mins in the extra time. He didn't look out of place either.

He managed to shake his markers off and was in acres of space with his arm up waiting for the ball. It was a real shame our midfield didn't spot him or he could have scored his first at the Riverside stadium.
