Another 48 hours of handbags on NSC in prospect then...

The happy-clappy squad with their 'at least we're still seventh (or ninth or thirteenth or whatever the f*** it is this week'

v

'When will they learn not to act like complete stupid cnuts'?

I predict a draw on the above...

When they announced on Talk Sport that Tranmere had scored with 9 mins to go, I was strangely mute. Normally I would shout at the top of my voice something like "Oh for f**ks sake Brighton", but today nothing.............guess this season hasn't really excited me yet (despite being nearly halfway through it)

Its not that I don't care, but I'm just very apathetic at the moment

I'm glad that I couldn't get to the game today. It sounds as if we were less than impressive. Can anyone tell me why El Abd was dropped for Watto, when he has played well of late. I wonder about McGhee's decisions sometimes. I don't rate Watto at all.

I can't believe Harty on the radio reckons we could still go up automatically ???

If it wasn't for the mediocrity in this division this year we would be fighting to stay up. Harty saying we shouldn't settle for the play offs is a joke. I reckon we will be lucky to even make the play offs this season.

With the exception of the QPR home game, and Rushden away - I've not seen a decent game this season (and I have been to 18 of our matches of the 22 played).

Please DK - find some cash for a big striker, please........

My goodness we have lost again.

Ok I'll be the first to say it.

At least we've on dropped one place and are in 4th. QPR lost so not all bad.

Yeates was well up for it today. Chippy tried hard OGH had a bit of a nightmare (I thought it was him who handled) Danny was really putting everything into it.
At one stage we were all over them. Then they started playing really wide and we weren't marking them well.

A big factor was the swirling wind. When it was raining you could see the eddies in the rain. That's why when one of the shots was on target and then twisted away with the wind.

A draw would have been a fair result.

We also played quite well against Sheffield Wednesday but I agree our performances haven't even come close to warranting automatic promotion.

The passion seems to of gone from the team and apart from little Leon no player can claim to of had a good season. We badly need some new players to freshen up thing but unfortuantly I can't see that happening.

If we make the playoffs it sums up how poor this division is this year.Even QPR didn't impress me either time we played them.

El-Abd was awful against Vale, and exposed while Cullip was out to be terrible at marking, picking up spare players in defence, and generally keeping any kind of a cool head when in possession at the back. Basically, he was a liability. He forced their player into muffing the easiest of headers into an open goal, but I believe it was that player he was supposed to have been marking!

I can't wait for MM to start dabbling in the transfer market, or else we are going to be lucky to finish mid-table ......and will likely lose DC and LK (shivers at the prospect).

We just have yet to replace Brooker, and we don't have the likes of Sidwell around to strengthen a very average side.

Why will we lose DC & LK? Both have over a year on their contracts left to run at the end of the season.
When DC was put on the transfer list at his own request nobody came for him.

What really annoyed me today was the constant hoofing of the ball by the defenders and mayo in particular.

All the wide players had absolute stinkers

No surprise really. I'm not sure that Mayo has the skill to do much else especially when he is under pressure from a pacey player running at him.

Sad but true.

:(
