Indeed. They’re taking over the building which currently houses The Castle. It’s a nice, large and airy building but The Castle never really made the most of it. I think Brewdog will make a success of it.

The slightly longer term plan is to open a further 3 bars in Berlin and 5 in and around Frankfurt. I believe the first Frankfurt bar opens early next year as well.

The name just makes it sound good.

It was very tasty indeed as was the large Talisker I washed it down with. Run was a bit iffy this morning

I kicked off with a Kupfer, a Keller bier from the bar next door. Now enjoying a Brewdog Overworks 5PM Saint.

Starting to work my way through a small case of German Engel Brewery beers. Decent Pils, Dunkel & Weisbeer so far
