Oh I've had many an evening like that, listening to crackly commentary of MU or chelsea just to wait for the Albion score. One evening up late, as James Alexander Gordon was reading the classifieds I sneezed at the precise point that Brighton's score was mentioned, and thus rendered the whole night pointless.

Even worse, I lost reception at halftime with a score of Hereford 1 Brighton 0. Took me two days to find out the final score, in the meantime I was probably the only Brighton fan who thought we had been relegated to the conference.
