I have signatures turned off so can't see then and yes, they do get annoying especailly if they are in big blue writing (turkey). However, they do add certain je ne sais quoi or however its's spelt so you can judge characters of people

They convey emotion and are pretty easy to work out.
c) YOU CAN TURN THEM OFF DWAYNE!!!!
