An incomplete summary of Thursday's action (due to the late kick-off for Joao Pedro's Brazil):-
Billy Gilmour started and played just the first half as Scotland drew 2-2 in their qualifier in Georgia.
Yasin Ayari started for the Sweden U-21s and played 62 minutes as they beat Finland 3-0 in a friendly.
Casper Nilsson started for the Sweden U-20s and played the whole match as they drew 1-1 in Denmark in a friendly.
James Beadle started for the England U-20s any played the entire match as they lost 3-0 at home to Italy (in Doncaster) in the European Elite League.

Simon Adingra and his Ivory Coast squad host Seychelles in a FIFA 2026 World Cup CAF Group F qualifier.
Killian Cahill is with the ROI U-21s in Norway for a UEFA 2025 U-21 European Championship Group A qualifer. (Andrew Moran was originally in the U-21 squad but was subsequently called up to the senior squad).
Kacper Kozlowski and the Polish U-21s host Israel in a UEFA 2025 U-21 European Championship Group D qualifer.

Luis Dìaz scored both goals as Colombia came from behind to beat Brazil 2-1 with his father watching on.

Simon Adingra started for the Ivory Coast, scored their third goal and played 84 minutes as they beat Seychelles 9-0 in a World Cup qualifier.
Kacper Kozlowski started for the Poland U-21 side, was booked in the 64th minute and played 84 minutes as they beat Israel 2-1 in a European Championship qualifier.

There could be some significant international action for Albion players on Saturday:-
Bart Verbruggen should start for the Netherlands as they face the ROI at home in a UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier.
Evan Ferguson and (maybe) Andre Moran could see some action for the ROI in the same fixture.
Pascal Gross and Germany host Turkey in a friendly in Berlin.
Facundo Buonanotte is with the Argentinian U-23s for the first of two friendlies in Japan.
Mark O'Mahony will be hoping to continue his fine goalscoring form for the ROI U-19s against Slovenia in Albania.
Jack Hinshelwood and Joshua Duffus are in the England U-19 squad for their second friendly at the Marbella Football Center in Malaga, this time against Japan.
Adam Brett and his Wales U-17 teammates will host Belgium in Cardiff in a 2024 U-17 European Championship Qualifying Round Group 12 fixture.

He is not (quite) yet a Brighton and Hove Albion player, but 18-year-old Adrian Mazilu (who will join Albion in January) started for the Romanian U-21 side today and played 71 minutes as they beat Albania 5-0 in a European Championship qualifier.

Looks like Fergie up against Bart tonight in the game Ireland want to lose to have a chance of qualifying for the Euros.
