Seems odd when they are currently one of the best teams in the league.
I hear it’s something to do with an investor in the club wanting to appoint his own team manager. Strange time to do it though - you’d have thought any investor would want to keep the momentum going of what’s been a very good season so far and then make a managerial decision in May.

Whitehawk basically cleared out the entire squad, only kept 2 players (one of whom funnily enough now plays for Bognor) got a new manager, the players just weren’t very good, the manager has subsequently left, and they just are left with a squad who don’t want to be there and the old assistant trying his best. Bit of a mess really.

I heard similar. The are looking to install a 4G playing surface and somebody is funding it, but wants their own man. Seems very odd to me, have you man ready, fine, but why change anything with the manager and squad they have with a great chance of promotion?

The money to put in the 4G is 100% conditional on said investor having their manager in charge

There was a rumour on social media a few weeks ago over Rouane leaving, so this has been in the pipeline for some time. Haywards Heath couldn't sack him all the time they were winning, but the first sign of disappointing dropped points (drawing at home to Wick) and they can pull the trigger

All a bit embarrassing whoever the investor is. Someone who always wants their own way by the sounds of it, can guarantee they'll take a hit results wise, hopefully Hassocks go and win it now.

I played at this level a long time ago All players recieved petrol money only. Assume these clubs are still run behind the scenes by volenteers It is these people I feel sorry for seeing so many players move clubs at end of each season assume for money. Appreciate things move on but it is a shame so little loyalty

I don't think a lot moved on for money really, club just wanted a new direction thats gone very wrong. Always is a merry go round this level, 46 players had played for Hawks this season when I last checked.

Loyalty at Premier League level, maybe you can question it as the players are set for life whoever they play for.

In non-league, no way. An extra 50 quid a week that’s £200 a month, that’s your heating bill or a couple weeks food shop. Remember these players are all part time and have full time jobs. It’s very common in non-league football for players to be self-employed, often in the trade. The more money they make from football the less they have to work along side it.

I used to play with a guy for Lewes who left his £200 a week deal to play for another side on £400+. It’s an absolute no brainer and you can’t judge any non league player who moves on for more money.

Yes dropped points on Saturday and conceded their 6th league goal of the season - just 6! I think they had (might still have) the best defensive record at that level in the country - and have sacked their manager.
