I'd be very happy with 7 points, but I'm going to put my money down on 5 points.

Villa in good form since managerial change but not yet settled !
Fulham possibly the biggest challenge but I think we will be too good !
Cardiff may well be inconsistent but we owe them a stuffing after last season !

I'd be disappointed if we got less than 6 points from those games. I'd be happy with 7, but honestly don't see why we can't pick up all 9. Villa have looked better since their managerial change, but they aren't anywhere near our standard.

First objective, get 3 points next Friday and keep our good run going.

I do agree with you, as this league has been so entertaining and unpredictable,. I suggest 7; if we are going to up, then one home win and one draw is to be expected and a win against Cardiff.

What I meant was: Should we beat Villa (and we shall), Fulham and Cardiff both won't feel as confident as they might have before the result. With each win, the more our upcoming opposition will start worrying about us.

Agree. Fulham will be every bit as tough as Villa. Great manager and decent team. Let's hope the international break has affected them as well.
