I went for 2 dropped, because within sight of the winning line we yet again make a rookie.

And it’s about time our fan base fecking expects more and drops the small club happy with winning best pie, fax machine and community tree planted mentality, and instead starts going APOPLECTIC at our players every time we do this each week! :rant:punish::guns::albion2:
Oh yeah? And where exactly would that get us? Getting on the player's backs and creating a toxic atmosphere works really well for Spurs and West Ham...

You mean two teams that have won something in their histories and expect to win more?

No further questions your honour…

Never had it in the bag. Could’ve gone either way. Good point.
Just this, a good point against a strong Newcastle side. Does simulation need a stronger punishment, as yet another player cheats by diving ??

Yes, nothing inspires players low in confidence quite like going “apoplectic” at them every time we don’t win

You seem to ignore that (like lots of teams) we were pretty much no-marks until the Cup Final in '83. Spurs and West Ham had a far greater historical impact, be it in fans, spending, international players, etc.
I 'get' that you want us to win things 'now', but we have to accept that we may.....or may not.
Every fan of every team has hopes, most likely above their ability to achieve such lofty heights.
We've only recently (in historical terms) hit the 'big time', and I genuinely think that we have a shot at winning something big in the future.
Whether that's in my lifetime or yours is a moot point, but I'm thoroughly enjoying our foray in the upper echelons of the League.
Maybe try to adjust your expectations and revel in where we are - we may go far higher, we may not, but I'd far rather be here, now, than where we were 20 years ago.*
*Or even last year, if I'm honest.

Tough, voted two dropped but it also feels like a point earned

Meanwhile the indifference and excuse culture small club mentality has won us numerous trophies in our long history
Before Bloom, we’ve never had the financial backing or quality of players or infrastructure to compete. We had a good cup run, once.

Dozens of clubs can same exactly the same and yet have won stuff or done comparably better at a point in their time. Sorry, but your pov is a bit boring and factually isn’t true either. Probably too young to remember Mike Bamber I guess.
