Not totally football related I know, but has anybody else got it? and if so, what's the verdict? I think it's their best one since Achtung Baby, definately worth seeing live again for... 10/10

Haven't heard it yet. Is there any news on the tour/tickets? Last tour cost £65 so no doubt this will be £100... would love to see them at Falmer though.

tour details are being announced on March 9th, and they said ticket prices would be reduced due to the credit crunch....that's good of them :clap2:

Can i start of by saying u2 are shit and sound the same every album. However the new one is alright i suppose.

Yep, by turning out dross each time they get to become the biggest rock band in the world with the same 4 members as when they started in 1978. :dunce:

For those who think it might be worth getting, I'd thoroughly endorse. It's best since Actung and possibly best ever.

" Magnificent," the second song, is superb.

I just love this too. Having played 3 times since getting yesterday, this is the stand out track in my mind.

Thing I love about U2 albums is their songs nearly always grow on you if you thought they were less than great first time around.

Heard 'Get On Your Boots' a couple of times over the weekend and think it's pretty poor to be honest. Probably won't buy the album but may borrow a copy and give it a listen to see if it is any good.

It's my least favorite track on the cd if that's anything to go by

Doubt it very much (though it's the agencies who hike the prices, not the bands) because Bono's already made a point that the prices will reflect the world economic crisis we're in.

I'll be making the purchase as I have all their long players bar Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum. Some bastard stole those two from my collection.

Remember there's always Spotify if you want to hear it (and much else besides). Quality streaming all for free.

I like the U2 album - need to hear it a lot more to decide if it's a great one though.

This has been an unsponsored service announcement :)
