The new Belle & Sebastian Album

never been a massive fan of them, but their latest album is absolutely fantastic - one of the best albums I've ever bought.

Go and buy it its great!!

agreed altohugh I have to say in my opinion they have never released a bad album

always thought they sounded like nick drake / velvet underground wannabees before but this album has a lot more to it.

I loved their first couple of albums, thought that they were brilliant, but then thought that they went off a bit. Someone sent me a copy of the one they released in 2004 and I only listened to it once, however I have heard a few tracks off the new one and reckon they are back to their best again.

I used to go to college with Richard the drummer at perth music college - He was a nice guy but there were alot of serious muso's at the college and he wouldn't have featured in the 'they'll be famous brigade'...

They deserve a place in the hearts of all music fans for beating Steps to Best Newcomer at the Brits a few years ago.
