I tried watching that over my breakfast without a smile on my face to avoid my wife asking what I'm finding so amusing.

It's nine minutes of pure beauty. Who needs porn?

Westwood out of it already then, +6. Odd that he changed his caddy from his doris to his son for this tournament. He'd been in great form of late, so why change it ? Sure its a great experience for his lad, but I can't imagine it particularly enhanced Westwoods chances. Unless all his caddies literally do is hump his clubs around for him and polish his balls, with no input whatsoever strategy-wise.

Having watched a couple of the recent tournaments where Lee has done quite well she doesn’t seem to have a huge input into what he is doing from a strategic standpoint. Not really helping him with a massive amount of club selection or green reading. BUT he was walking round with a smile on his face and clearly enjoying himself so maybe what he requires from a caddie is to keep him positive and carry his clubs.

That said, something obviously happened yesterday as he had a shocker ..... was that caddie related or just a bad day at the office.

Couldn't disagree more. When the greens are like glass at Augusta, it presents a whole new challenge to every golfer. It can quite literally be sink or swim, and I love that. Its what makes The Masters the spectacle that it is.

Fair enough, you make a good point as Augusta is a one off course and I dont believe there are any other greens like them.
But i still maintain that a good shot should never be punished, its difficult enough as it is.
Great to see Rose leading, i hope he can win it, my favourite player since Colin Montgomery.

Yes, yes, that caddie was related - you said it yourself, he's his son.

I just LOVE that Kim (at that point on -4) missed a putt from the fringe on the 15th and SLAMMED his putter down into the turf - hard - and ended up bending it.

He is now putting with his 3 wood for (I assume) the rest of the Masters :lolol:

Thats some proper Happy Gilmore shit right there.

[edit] Apparently he can replace his putter for tomorrow. Booo!

Wonderful spectacle

Untouched,in the main by money & technology (I know, the clubs are so much better now)

I can see play off tonight

The Japanese fella will play defensive and shoot par at best

The pack have to attack and one of them will probably shoot 66/67

Hopefully Rose or Conners

More than likely Spieth

Any other scenarios out there?

I can't ever remember betting on and winning a player to win a major , if things go like they usually do concerning my Golf bets Zalatoris will double bogey every hole today and my imaginary already paid for full board holiday to Camber Sands will be a distant memory and it will be crappie old Spain again this year .
