I saw him at The Brighton Centre just before Covid. He was absolutely brilliant with a stripped down stage set. I’d love to see him again but dynamic pricing and the price of tickets generally for live events is ruining a whole generation of potential live gig attendees imo. Not like the old days when you sauntered into The Brighton Centre and bought a face value ticket for a top act (£5/6 in the early 80sBought tickets for David Byrne today. Bought using a presale form my internet provider and “dynamic pricing” might occur apparently. I paid 178 euros. Ouch.
