Michael Monroe at the Concorde last night was f**king class. Cannot believe he is 62, so much energy, still raw and still rocking. Great night. Well worth braving the weather to trek down there.
Can he still do the splits?

I find it staggering the numbers I’ve heard people are paying to relive those experiences this summer. Oasis were already rubbish live by the time I saw them in the late 90’s. Goodness knows what they’ll be like nearly 30 years later.

Was laughable that some wanted them at Glastonbury. Their last appearance there was WOEFUL. Treated the festival with contempt.

Still, I think most are going to the gigs for the nostaglia blast this summer, and know they're not going to see a band at their peak or anything close.

Got a Wet Leg ticket for the album launch. Hope better sound than at Brixton. Bloc Party and English Teacher the day before. Not bad!!!

Not a lot of room on the C2 stage, but I'm going to say yes!
As an aside, Hanoi Rocks, at Portsmouth Pavillion (i think this was the name) should have been my first ever live show. Vince Neil put paid to this.

Throwing Muses at Chalk tonight cancelled. Kristin Hersh has lost her voice.

Fortunately they've managed to rearrange it for September.

Was really up for this.

Oh well.
