Am I the only person who finds it childish and a bit "GAY" to have a players fan club in your signature?

I mean were not school kids round here are we?

Some posters are school kids.

I agree though. Fans clubs are gay.

Can we have signiatures restricted a bit, its so annoying when someone has a signiature which is ten times longer then their actual post.

What are signatures - I have them left off in my profile.

Maybe they all say Beach Hut is a W2nk$r

Animal Nitrate = Classic tunes.

By the way Champan. I saw Alfie four years aho supporting Embrace and have been a massive fan ever since.
The album in your avatar is cracking.

Alfie f***ing rule.

Their last album, however, sold just 4,000 copies and it could be all or bust for the next one due out next year. Was talking to Lee (singer) at my mates' gig the other week, lovely bloke.

They are so good. Its tragic they have never taken off. My best mate and I searched for ages after that gig to find their album, took years to be released, perhaps missing out on some casual support that they had drilled up.

Then by chance I got sent the promo of that album last year and hardly come out of my CD played since.

Is it anything to do with the fact that Safeway is a dead ringer for Brett Anderson?

But shorter.

No.

I was never 'allowed' to like them because my sister is like their biggest fan so I always said I hated them but secretly used to open my bedroom door when she started playing them.

Lush - Listen to some Alfie radio from my sig, you'll like it. 'Isobel' from the album 'Do you imagine things?' is the best song I ever heard.

Can't see it myself, Anderson looks more moody than the loveable rogue from Eastbourne.

ps Alfie are also the only band that I know of that have put ALL of their albums on the internet for people to listen to.

Marvellous.

I would say Anderson is a bit too gay looking to be Safeway. Also, he is a bit art school chic and Safeway is normal.

The more times I see your avatar, the more Im reminded how cool Alfie are.

PS - Only Brett Anderson was from Haywards Heath.

He's a twat. One of my mates gave him a slap at the 'Sarge many years ago. (Brett Anderson, not Safeway)

Blimey, The Sarge. That takes me back! Many happy days drinking there in my Youth. I see it's called The Dolphin now!
