Interesting quote from Steve Cotterill in the Argus today saying that some clubs tend not to sign players in May and June because they don't want to pay players over the summer break. So don't expect much until July.

the only signing we'll make this summer is MM on the dole because DK will keep his cheque book well hidden away.......we ain't gonna sign anyone.........what's Steve Cotterill got to do with it anyway??

Patience is needed here, we first must agree who stays or who goes....that will take us thru to the January Transfer Window.

We then need to start on the new season's kit, that should be about March 2007.....then and ONLY then, we can get new players in!

Have Faith!

:clap2:

You have switched from letting us all know that you were rather p1ssed-off with not beimng contacted by the club to... well, being a little rose-tinted about the club's usual sluggish performance on players over the summer... what caused that then?...

Was frustrating having to wait of course, but knowing how these things work from the inside you just have to grin and bare it! Sorted now anyway. :)

What part of giving 10 kids professional contracts don't people understand? They are our new players for next season.
