Went to a comedy gig once and one of the comedians asked the crowd to shout out what their favourite sandwich was. Somebody shouted "Your wife and your daughter". Didn't go down particularly well.

The only thing that appeals about this sandwich combo is that the mint might freshen up any eggy farts that are produced.

Christ, I thought pretty much the same thing. Am I mad or just psychic?

This, with cheese, grated cheese.

Anything SIMPLE like the other posters or cormed beef and pickle for example.

Corned beef and a bit of Branston or even Coleslaw is good, onion burger relish goes well with CB. Branston is too acid to accompany cheese imho, decent homemade apple chutney for me, or even Morrisons cheap and cheerful spicy chutney. For the luxury end of the market (ie posh cheese and pickle) Brie and Cranberry or Stilton and Mango Chutney are good.
