I thought it had been irrefutably proved in every poll since time began that the definitive answer to this question is the werewolves of London:

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand,
Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain.

But I must admit a personal favourite of mine is:

Lovely Rita, meter maid, may I enquire discreetly,
When are you free to take some tea with me.


straight up, i'm actually listening to Sgt Peppers as I type!

however i'll go for "How I wish my folks were gracious hosts...." or "Fletcher Honorama won't you rally round a man who's on a limb...."
