It was a cheeky attempt to get around the 5 items. It annoys me when cafes advertise 5 or 6 items and include fried bread as an item, why not add bread and butter.

I prefer to not have veggie sausages in a veggie breakfast, as all cafes tend to just about thaw the shittiest ones and roll them onto the plate with one brown stripe down the side. I haven't found a place that does a nice Linda McCartney's one or a Cumberland Cauldron beauty.

Dodge the toast and your body would process the fat of the sausage far, far quicker meaning you can have sausages and more fry ups.
