Bobby Zamora*has rubbished his performances for Albion since returning to the club.
The veteran striker is also frustrated he cannot train every day – but he is happy with his goals tally.
Zamora is back on top of the Seagulls’ scoring chart after volleying them ahead in Saturday’s win against Huddersfield at the Amex.
The 35-year-old’s seven goals, one more than Tomer Hemed, have come in 22 Championship appearances, the majority as a substitute.
Five of his goals have coincided with the two occasions he has made two or more consecutive starts.

Zamora said: “It’s quite frustrating for myself and the gaffer.
“You don’t want to train every day, because you want to be fit for the weekend.
“Not being able to train every day, you don’t get your full fitness but I’m happy with my contribution in terms of goals.
“Performance wise I don’t think I’ve played well in one game this season but the goals have just been dropping to me.”
Boss Chris Hughton said: “Some weeks he’s better than others. Some weeks we think we can get 90 minutes out of him, some weeks not.
“It is very much a balance with Bobby. One consistent thing is he scores goals and generally finds himself in the right place.”
Albion resume their promotion challenge at home to Brentford on February 5 with Zamora one goal short of joining Kit Napier in fourth place on the club’s all-time league list.
