Best:

As Doug says, the win against Brentford
Standing at the back of the home end, bashing one's fists on the corrugated iron when we scored; didn't half make a din
That home end; a proper covered terrace
Friendly staff and the fact you could go in the social club
The fact that it took me less than an hour to drive there
The new loos they put up at the home end; luxury compared to the North Stand

Worst:

The fact that it wasn't our ground
The empty away end with the away fans stuck in the corner, hence little atmosphere
The awful team we had for most of the time there
Brian Horton leaving when he was doing quite a good job
Aston Villa mugging us over Gareth Barry

All in all, though, I didn't find it too bad, though I didn't have to put up with a 75 mile journey on a bus - Gillingham is easy via the A22, M25 and M2 from where I live.

Wasn't the 4-1 win just before Christmas against Rotherham? Either way that was a highlight. I suppose the comeback from 3 down against Colchester must also be mentioned as it was a fantastic recovery. Not many others though.

Winning 4-3 oe 3-2 in about November 1998 can't remember against who might have been Hartlepool anyway it was around the time SWEAT finally gave up and at least Withdean was on the horizon.

The Cricketers (I think that is what it was called) - not because it was a great pub but because it was full of people who'd just driven however many miles in the name of a common cause, we owned the place for a couple of years. The landlord and staff were great and atmosphere was always tops............

Good: It shuffled the supporter pack and I made a lot of great new friends. In fact one is going to be my best man and another my usher when I get married later this year.

Bad: Knowing we were giving money to that creepy Paul Scally guy. The 1997-1998 team most rank as the worst ever Albion squad surely?

Best:-

Boxing Day (1999??) against Brentford
A roof
Generally speaking a fantastic atmosphere
Every weekend feeling like an away game with the beers on the train etc

Worst:

Getting home late on midweek games
Millwall in AWS match 1-5 defeat
Its in Kent - enough said!

Worst as most was shocking...

Losing 4-0 at Home to Darlington was very depressing and Marco Gabbiadini scored all 4.....gutted that day.

Doncastor game was truley dire as well...0-0 unless I am mistaken??

The atmosphere in that pub near the ground, especially in the beer garden in good weather, was excellent. And it wasn't Withdean. That's about it. And that Fans Utd II game was the worst game of football I've ever seen.

I'm so impressed that any of you can thin k of best things. I went to more or less every match there and can't think of a single good thing. Our football was so bad it is hard to believe anyone can complain about what we do now.
