Me too. Travelling home and away for virtually every game this season and travelling for kids football on a Sunday plus coaching kids football on a Friday evening - I'll be glad when it's all over and I can spend more time on the allotment. I also look forward to watching Tour de France on the telly much more than many football matches these days too.
Roll on the end of the season I say. Football sometimes makes me feel sick like I've eaten too much chocolate and I really need a break from it.
Agree ... take January off .. footie players can bugger off to Caribbean, South Africa or such like, pitches don't get mauled to bits, we don't need to sit and freeze, season extended till June and only a few weeks before it gets going again .. love the continuity
It's because every season is a smaller percentage of your life. For example my 9 month old niece thinks this season has been going on forever, it seems like a lifetime to her.....because it has been.
Edit: Thinking about this and the post-season break seems to get longer every year. The percentage of life theory can't explain that.
