Albion Flyer (benny) the very first NSC syndicate dog has run his last race, last Friday Benny ran in an A9 race at Hove and finished in 2nd, but the decision has been made with Bennys well being in mind to call it a day, it isn't worth risking serious injury now he is slipping down the grades and as a syndicate we started out with the most important thing being the dogs welfare, Benny has been the success of this syndicate winning his way up through the grades to A3 and building a nice fund to allow us to purchse 3 other dogs, for me personally he has been a major part of my life for the past 3 years, I haven't missed many weekends to walk him, we have also found a nice home for him for his retirement, he will be sadly missed by the syndicate members and their families, especially the children who Benny loves to see and also for the Albion fans who visit the track.
