Please, please FAB, can you try to find a way to get the fan's voice heard here ??
A poll will likely find about 80% who would like VAR to be scrapped.......

Even if it meant tonight we lose 3-1 and James not sent off ?

Could FAB source the views of fans on VAR and present them to the board?
Unfortunately in the FAB Terms & Conditions, agreed at the outset, the FAB has no input on anything related to what happens on the pitch.

Last season after the VAR debacle at Spurs we made representations on the grounds that VAR affected supporters match day experience.

We were told directly that it was an on pitch issue and as such nothing to do with us. We did get the clear impression that the club was at least as upset as we were about the situation, and that we could trust them to make more fuss about it than we could.

In my own personal opinion, I would like to see the club urgently ask the fans what we think about VAR and give them a guide has to how they should vote at the PL meeting in June. But I would also like to see peace in Gaza and a super efficient and reliable Southern Rail

Yes. My vote is to scrap it because overall it is awful for the fan experience inside the ground. Of course that will result in some errors not being fixed but not enough to make it worthwhile, and the swings and roundabouts will even things out.

One way or the other, the fan view should be heard. If your vote is to keep VAR then that is fair enough.

@Barry Izbak After Tony’s request regarding the FAB looking into match atmosphere, what ideas have been floated & what steps are going to be taken? Given this is a specific request from the club some proper dialogue with fans groups and transparency on what you think could help would be appreciated.

Or keep it, because more often than not it comes to the correct conclusion, but make the in-stadium fan experience better.

I like the NFL-style ref explaining the decision to the crowd that they've been doing in Australia, on the spot accountability.

I'm disapointed that when our FAB reps tried to do something constructive towards the questionable bans handed out to Albion fans after the game in Amsterdam on the word of Ajax stadium stewards, they were told to 'back off'.

But surely as a Fan Advisory Board that should be one of their primary jobs?
And the fact that Albion fan(s) apparently got thrown out (and maybe banned) on Wednesday when Chelsea fans who were abusing our fans were ignored by Stewards and Police.

Anyone else just had a survey request land in their in box.

Started the survey, but gave up as far too many questions before even getting to any Albion stuff.
Struggled through it just out of interest - several questions that couldn’t be answered sensibly because the options weren’t correct, a few typos and way, way too long. Suspect most will give up long before getting to the end of it.

Yep, I've tried to do it. Some questions should have a N/A box. I've now given up as I get a 'validation failed' notification when trying to get through the 'sponsors' section and it took 10 mins to get that far!

For some reason once I was halfway through I realised how long it was, but carried on to complete it out of sheer fascination as to what the punchline would be! Not sure if it was entirely FAB driven, as there were a lot of questions about sponsor brand visibility around the club etc in the second half, seemed more likely to come from the club.

Gawd that was a long old slog to the finish line. It was almost Barberesque in length

I did eventually manage to complete The never-ending survey but not sure it was worth the significant time it required and I took much less care over the later questions.
