For me, us moving to a fantastic new stadium had a huge effect on us going up this season. I really do believe a packed out stadium, belief that we are a club on the up, after so many years of uncertainty will already give us a" goal lead " against our rivals next season? Will it make a difference ?

Yes big time-remember the design is such that any noise is supposed to be trapped inside rather than escape(something to do with being close to a village) could be be quite claustrophobic & intimidating...especially as we have been starved of this for 12 years..

The Amex will be 100 times better than withdean but I honestly think it will take a few weeks or even months for the players to get used to it.. the big clubs play in stadiums like that week in and week out, noisey, hostile fans etc so doubt if it will affect them ... having said that if we are playing attacking footie im sure the noise created will result in more pressure.. I just hope Gus has 2 more top quality strikers that can convert into goals !

Some clubs have struggled when moving into new stadia. May have a situation where we dont win the first few games and it becomes a bit of an issue about when we'll finally win at home!

But those clubs have not been in our situation. We have struggled to attract top class players, we have had not seen a solid future really until this season, look at the effect moving back to Brighton had? We were on the climb until Falmer was delayed. We now have our dream, it will make a difference mark my words !
