Any of these at the Amex in the 3rd Round would be good

Bournemouth
Pompey
Hastings United
Newport County
Accrington Stanley
Wrexham
Torquay
Plymouth Argyle
Bradford PA
FC Halifax
Bristol Rovers
Gosport
Leyton Orient
Altrincham

Still love the FA Cup,wouldn't like to get a premiership team away and go out at the 1st hurdle

Very much this, id love it if Hastings got to the 3rd round and we got them - would be a Sussex derby then !! Although we have of course already lost to them this season !!

I think the televised matches will be:

Braintree Town vs Tranmere Rovers.
Dorchester Town vs Plymouth Argyle.
Metropolitan Police vs Crawley Town.
Poor old Portsmouth (as they need the money) vs Notts County.

Pretty disappointing draw, not many games really stand out, I'm absolutely praying for a northern shithole away in the third round, Barrow would do nicely.

Guiseley away. They are in my back garden nearly.

No chance they will get near the 3rd round though

Think you could be right there. A non-league team with a chance, a local-ish derby, the interest factor of the police team (not that they actually have many coppers playing these days), and Pompey because they always like to feature Pompey.

Perhaps Cambridge City v Milton Keynes Twats might be a TV option too: a non league side at home to a decent L1 team is reasonably attractive. Plus Cambridge City have been tweeting furiously this morning trying to get their game on telly :)

Doncaster v Bradford PA

tie of the round for me
They drew at Horsfall (Bradford's ground) in a pre-season friendly. I know friendly results mean nothing but the Bradford fans are confident of their team going there and giving a good account of themselves - unlike last year when they lost 8-2 or something in the first round to AFC Totton!

I like the sound of Gloucester City, Gloucester doesn't seem to get much in the way of football so hopefully they can get through and play us  Shouldn't have too much trouble against Orient anyway :)

Is that official now then? How utterly dull and pathetic of ITV. Don't bother about all those excited non-league clubs (Kidderminster excepted) who could really use a pay day, no, we'll just go for the well known sides, the so called big clubs at that level. The ones whose players Andy Townsend might actually recognise. Brilliant.

A sad day when Cambridge City are in the first round of the FA Cup and Cambridge United are not.

If those are the television choices of ITV and ESPN then that's very disappointing.

Portsmouth was inevitable (they're becoming the new Leeds United). Kidderminster is non-league but Aggborough is not a local park pitch as they were in the League for a few seasons and built a new stand. Gillingham v Scunthorpe will all be about media whore Martin Allen's good start at the Pikeys and Bristol Rovers v Sheffield United might be just about watchable with two old Brighton managers/players in the dugout.

Good opportunities wasted to show what the early rounds of the FA Cup are really all about though. The part-timers, the mud bath pitches, the high-profile managers shitting themselves about playing a team five divisions below them.

Yep, they're a great club. I've got loads of friends connected to the club, and know lots of kids playing there.

Yeah a true community club with a lot of passionate people heavily involved. They’ve also grown massively over the last decade or so and have a pretty decent ground now too, put Reigate Priory fc to shame who although one of the oldest football clubs in the world and also being at their ground for longer than almost any club play second fiddle to the cricket club and even have to give up their pitch for car parking
