The people having a pop presumably because it is considered uncool to admit to liking them, have you actually sat down and listened to any of their music ???

Yes, unfortunately. Thought they were shit in the 70s and still do.

Men with beards, perms and falsetto voices: Be afraid! Be very afraid!!

(cf. Bee Gees, 10CC, etc...)

Gwylan..they were a great band.

Yeah. Gwylan would be a great name for a band. It would be founded on anarcho-syndicalist principles and play a mixture of electronic industrial music, free-form jazz, ska and electric folk....and sing all songs in Welsh. :D

And it would sound a whole lot better than ELO: Mantovani for the bubble-perm generation.

If Gwylan were a band they would play a blend of Peruvian Pan Pipes, rhythmically supplemented by a washboard with the melody picked out by Rolf's stylophone.

Rocktastic tunes.

:D

I found walking around with them to be aerodynamically unsound - too much wind resistance. I preferred playing mine.

Did you tap your feet to the rocking good tunes? If my memory serves me right one track from them conisisted solely of a bloke straining for a dump.

I would have tapped my feet, but my arms weren't long enough.

I never had much time for King Crimson, I thought they were a load of pretentious old hippies but I'd pay money to hear that.

Is it on iTunes?
