Not hugely popular surprisingly. Yet to attract a customer for the next home game!

I think it may be gradually dawning on them how small and tinpot they are now, just another mediocre unfashionable and tired provincial team along the lines of brentford and orient.

Posted by Telodaja; How successful has the Kent coach been? I applaud the idea, but as someone who lives in North Kent I would not use service.Just wondered if other Kentish...(O' lord, lead me not into temptation to slighty mis-spell that word)...people have been more interested than myself.

Not many people could be bothered to reply.

Orient aren't provincial, they are fairly close to central London. I think you must be thinking of Gillingham.

Wow....1 season (so far) in 30 BHA have been above Palace, and all of a sudden post like this!! IF BHA can crow about being the better club in 5 years time, then and only then can they claim the high ground IMHO.

Your absolutely 100% correct,
We shouldn't be crowing about having a superb stadium until we've been there as long as Palace have been in Selhurst.
We shouldn't be crowing about being higher in the league until we've been higher for at least 26 years.
We shouldn't be crowing about having an award winning manager because he never played for us.
We shouldn't be crowing about attracting higher attendances than Palace until we have done so for at least 26 years.

What's it all for eh? Thanks for pointing out to us the error of our ways.

Dont be so touchy....In all honesty, Brighton of all clubs should, and are very proud of where they are now, and I as a football fan could not be happier for you (I for one was roated to the wireless during the Hereford game, and cheered as loudly as any of you when you scored) but it was the coment about, "just another mediocre unfashionable and tired provincial team along the lines of brentford and orient" I though was slightly ...well bollocks!!

Stop your jibber jabber fool. Might have known one of you lot would take the bait. Its nothing to do with your tiresome & pointless references to League position or what division either of us has been in and everything to do with the sum of all the parts. Palace are a club in terminal decline, the Albion are the complete opposite, Its about the now and the future and yours looks decidedly bleak and hopeless. Your clubs numerous hilarious and doomed attempts to drum up support this season have kept us well entertained and quite frankly there are few clubs with your level of apathy in the football league pyramid. If you look at the 2 clubs ability to sustain top championship football and even perhaps the Premiership then it is a no contest, Palace no longer have the finances, fans, stadium or desire to even get close to where we currently are and are going. Same old Palace, still stuck in the past and treading water at best.

I cant say I agree, Selhurst park is in decline it needs a revamp or a move, at the moment there is not much we can do about that.

But on the pitch Palace fans are more than happy with the season so far, and see the long term future on the pitch as rosy.

And reading NSC (which I find one of the better football forums) BHA fans are a moany old bunch, 4 years ago just about staying alive and now 5th in the league, all I read is how much Gus gets wrong!!!

A few years ago, I had to endure a corporate day out at Franchise FC including a stadium tour.
I actually nearly walked out,

a) Because I hate the club and what it stands for, and the people attending did not understand football
b) The constant boring homo references for about 5 hours, not from one but about 4 or 5 different people
c) Some twat clapping in my face throughout the match, and worst still we where losing.

I never heard the end of it. At that time I thought to myself, one day this is all going to change and I will have the last laugh.
Roll on 3 seasons, everything is quiet now. Not one word. I could sing "It's all gone quiet over there" but I want because I know things can change in football.
The people who dished it out, now have egg on their face.
