I was lucky I was working for a bank……..
1991, I was 20 and nervous I was going to lose my job, before I got my foot on the ladder ( 7% deal on a repo on offer)
Guys in the office were sweating like Ted Stryker with landing lights in view . . . One guy had slipped 15k into neg, on a 1 bed flat. ( he was a tool and a chelsea supporter)
Strange days, although TBH I was oblivious to most of it!
