Just looking for that crap thread but I must have missed it, because that is the worst, most gutless performance I have seen from an Albion side in years.
It was set out defensively and played into Saints hands. They took it easy in the first half but it was so obvious what was coming. They were like rabbits caught in headlights at times... they
pressurised us on the ball and we were a complete f***ing shambles. I cannot see one fecking thing to get exited about after that shambolic effort.
I`m sure your put me right though boys.

i cant, watched it on the live stream - wouldnt disagree with a word.

We are steadily getting worse week in week out. the barnsley scoreline flattered us and we are just not getting better at all. quite the opposite

Didn't go and we sounded a bit poo on the radio but all I'll say is that game against a team well clear at the top having won 20 on the bounce at home is probably not a game to judge whether or not we are going backwards.

the last 10 games are the giveaway, not just today. we are definitely going backwards but i do belive we will go forwars at some point - Feb perhaps?

Well take it from someone who watched it at St. Marys - this was not the worst Albion display in years. The first half was fairly even and we had the heart taken out of us by a poor decision and the fact we were reduced to ten men and going two-nil down

Plus we were playing against the Leagues form side who took advantage of the situation in a ruthless fashion. With the award of the second penalty (which also looked harsh) our heads dropped for about 10 minutes and I thought we were going to take a real beating.

I would concede that there are not enough characters currently in the side who roll up their sleeves and tough out difficult situations.

It's a confidence game. We were unlucky in some of those 10 games (Millwall, West Ham) whereas we had been lucky in some of the games before then

And the pointless 'lets carry on as usual' brigade are replying. Did you enjoy the game then Medway?..were you there ? and what are your opinions on how to address the mounting problems for a team who were totally outclassed yesterday? saints realised that we had no forward ambitions in that game and just bided their time. The only time we had any intent on going forwards was once we went a goal down. Useless tactics.

Not sure about the "well" bit, they always seem such a miserable, sickly, "oh woe is me" short sighted, negatively down in the mouth bunch!

A league 2 club could,ve played better than us yesterday,is the starting line up 11 defenders?i always thought football was about scoring goals aswell as defending.

Im just get really angry and frustrated watching the albion, its like a horse pulling for 90 mins. Can't gus work out that you need to have shots to score?

Yes its very clear we are heading one way down the table unless these sicknotes actually start playing, every bloody week gus says they are fit etc etc etc but then they don't appear.???

I'd have been embarrassed by your sides effort once the 2nd penalty was given, completely couldn't be bothered. Embarrassed that is, if I supported Brighton.
