Barnsley are starting to creep up as well.
They've sold their best players, which should end their challenge.

Sky now saying the Villa deal for Hogan is worth £9mill. Seems that Brentford aren't very good at playing poker - they had WHU bidding £12.5 only yesterday but held out for more.

Reading look like being without 3 key CBs: new signing Ilori, Van den Berg and McShane. Birmingham have to win at some point #evertheoptimist

Leeds signed a good winger too. I'd snap your hand off with a win against Huddersfield and a defeat against Brentford.

We then have to win our two home matches against burton and Ipswich and we will surely still be 8 points clear with only fifteen games left.

Have done my bit for the cause.

£5 win accumulator on the 4 highlighted teams @ 22.5/1

Someone's dropping points as I'll not be collecting £117,60.

£3 here at 9/1, on Newcastle, Reading and Leeds.

Don't much like your version - Those three all winning and just Wednesday dropping points would still feel like a LOST bet, with very little consolation. Any of the three I have drop points and I never wanted my £30 anyway

You're overthinking it.

This is my tried and tested Burnley/Boro win double technique, which only 'lost' because of the Albion.

As others have said I think this as a pivotal week.
I have now all but guaranteed one of the pack will drop points.

The same will apply this weekend.
It's highly unlikely it will be the same team twice.

So for the meagre sum of £10 I have guaranteed 2 teams dropping points.
Thereby minimalising the effect these 2 difficult away games will have on the overall league.

Simples.

I'm not, at all. I'm guaranteeing myself some satisfaction.

If Newcastle, Leeds or Reading drop points, and I lose £3, I'll be satisfied.
If they all win, I'll collect £30, and that will be quite satisfying, too.

If I staked my £3 on your 4 clubs, and Leeds, Newcastle and Reading all won, but Wednesday drew, I'd be £3 down and no team that I still count as a threat will have dropped any points. Very poor outcome, all round.

More a pivotal month. Seven winnable games but only Burton are bang on 3 points, and even that is scary with Clough giving it the "I'm here to save this club" speech.
30 more points needed, 57 available. 13 in Feb from 21 would be good.

Not sure what you mean completely as it doesn't read well but if you're saying Burton at home is a nailed on 3pts you're talking out your arse!

Could do with Massive to drop some points on the road in these fixtures - just signed Rhodes & you just never know what run they could put on with their squad. Plus as we've played them twice it would be nice for them to take points off the other top 5
