What was it all about? As a 13/14 year old in the North Stand I used to love their celery 'displays' but I did't really understand the relevance. It's not somthing I worry about from day to day, but twenty years on I just thought it was time to find out.

Celery was about the only "safe" object that could be brought into the ground at the time (due to the hooliganism)

Those were the days...remember them well.

Used to go to games on the train with a mate of mine from East Preston, Phil, in those there times (I lived in Angmering).
