The Brighton REMF Team's 2009 Donation To The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund

NSC's Most Stalked
Our sponsorship amout exclusively REVEALED :clap2::clap2:

Don't asked me how it happened, but it has. It seemed the world is in economic crisis, but when it comes down to generosity for a worthy cause, everyone has come up trumps. I cannot thank everyone enough, but here goes.

A massive thank you to all who sponsored one of the 18 players in the squad, the amount of money raised was unprecedented, I am sure of which has never been seen before. I am still in shock as to just how well it has gone so far.

As manager of the Brighton team , I would like to thank all those who have sponsored players (friends, families, NSCers, Brighton fans and even Brighton players and minor celebrities), all those who have volunteered to do stuff on the night, the REMF committee team for providing a perfect stage to play on, and a massive thanks to Superphil and Woodingdean Gull have been extremely generous and paid for the Brighton teams kit and warm up/subs shirts.

The kit is a limited edition, specially made REMF home shirt, complete with REMF logo on the arm, and Old football shirts and classic soccer jerseys from around the world. logo as additional sponsorship on the back

Of course there is Peter Ward and Ricky Marlowe to give a special mention to, taking time out to play travel all the way to Lewes and play in the game

I could go on with the thank you's, but I leave my last one to all the players on the Brighton team, who after some top drawer binfestry at times, have proved their worth why they should be playing in show piece event against Palace.

Well, its over to you guys to turn up and support the cause, but as a team, it gives me great pleasure to say that so far we have raised

£3,688.42:bowdown:

woo woo woo.

Many thanks to Brett, who has done LOADS of work to set this all up.

Loads of thanks too, to MY sponsors. I'm waiting for a last couple of donations to go in, but should hit £500, almost £400 of which is from people who post on here. I'm pretty HUMBLED, to be perfectly honest, by just how generous folk have been. I hope I can do you all proud tomorrow.

Thanks

Simon
