It won't last long this'll be on this year as it will have competition from the FIRST game at Falmer in 2011.
I can see only a very limited interest in both, There won' be any competition, different target markets.
Also Pride is a 1-2 day event and the football as i remember is a max 3-4 with getting there socialising and getting home for a home game for the majority of those going to games.

So if there was any cross over of those who may be torn, they could do both.

Why are you so bigoted towards Pride ? I m not a fan so don’t go, but I don’t have any negative felling towards it, is because you generate no income from it ?

The point I was trying to make is that Pride and a home Albion match (like it is now) won't be on the same day.

And the point I am making is that Pride may STOP the Albion from having a first league fixture at home at Falmer if it is scheduled on the very same day and as the 'festival' is being scheduled in for the first Saturday in August which I believe next year is August 6th. Although July 30th could inhibit a lucrative friendly. As Pride will be scaled right down in 2012 due to the Olympics then why not start this from next year.

Pork pie land.
Pride does involve 15 x as many people, far more people from out of town, and huge quantities of alcohol and drugs, rather than water. It's a bit hard to compare.

Not really, they also have a load more people who are experts on bending over which will assist them when picking up litter!
