I've just watched The Sweeny on ITV 4 and it got me thinking - which is the most popular TV cop show, past or present? There's only one group of pollsters to ask and that's the good, the bad and the ugly of NSC.

You are right that it is nigh on impossible to narrow it down to less than fifty.

For my sins, I started a thread a long time ago about this or detectives or something and never got round to sorting out a poll.
