Cool.

That's one less person in the ticket queue for Lincoln Red Imps away.

Interesting this one, when Celtic played there, they could potentially have been fobbed off with ONE HUNDRED tickets, however they were allocated 960 out of a 2,000 capacity.
Wikipedia now has the stadium listed as a 5,000 capacity so I’m quietly confident we’d all be sorted.

We were spoiled with our European adventure regarding tickets and have yet to have a real bun fight, when Birmingham last got into Europe, IIRC their whole group consisted of three figure away allocations.

Assuming things play out as expected towards the top of the table, it's only Palace winning the FA Cup that could deny 8th spot qualifying for the Conference League.
Not sure what you assume as things playing out as expected but if Newcastle remain in the top 5 then conference league place goes to league position and if Man City or Forest both finish in top 5 and either win the cup then the second Europa league place will go to league position so that would be 5 champions league, 2 Europa League and 1 conference (ie 8th).

Misread Bozza's post. Here's hoping 8th is a European berth.

I think ESPN have got it slightly incorrect. The place for the winners is only applied if they fail to qualify through their league position for the equivalent competition or better.

If Chelsea finished 6th and won the Conference League it wouldn't change the qualification places as 6th already qualifies for the Europa League. The same applies to a 7th place finish (assuming both cups are won by teams in the top 7).

The only way 9th could qualify is if Chelsea finished 8th and won the Conference League as that place would normally get the Conference League spot but as Chelsea had already qualified for the Europa League then the place would drop to 9th.
I heard it on Talksport as well so it MUST be extremely well researched and true.

As I said to my lad. Just win games and the rest takes care of itself. If we are relying on Chelsea to beat F.C Perro y Pato in the Conference final to scrape into Europe in 9th or Man City to beat F.C Shit hole in the FA cup final we probably don't deserve it on balance anyway.

And palace
Whisper it, but Palace are outsiders unless they get in through the FA Cup side door. They've won against only three of the teams above them this season and five of their last seven are against teams above them. They have a game in hand, but have to catch up five points, not on one team, but on three teams, none of whom have the distraction of a cup semi final. Us, Fulham and Bournemouth have all been inconsistent, but the chances are at least one of the three will finish strongly enough to exclude Palace and Brentford.

After asking about this all on another thread the other day I thought I finally had my head around the race for 8th and now you both open this can of Chelsea worms… 😁

The most curious thing..
We are Brighton! We can do it!

(Finish 8th. in a season when 8th. doesn't qualify for Europe, that is)
No we can't

Another season of optimism, followed by a dreadful tail off at the end of the season with Palace pipping us again. I’d put my house on that happening.
