1) England and Wales CB - as it has been for a long long time.

2) KP born to an English mother and South African father. Should he not play for either sides, in that case???

Perhaps we are more accomodating of those with dual nationalities. :p

What, let them come in and start telling us what to do?

Anyone old enough to remember Kepler Wessels? Apartheid and sporting boycott in South Africa? No worries mate, come on over the Indian Ocean and play for Australia instead.

It's the England and Wales cricket board.

...and where the f*** did Kepler Wessels come from?

...and Andrew Symonds?

Our Papuan player has Welsh parents who always regarded themselves as British as was their son.

That would imply that the Aussies would be as hypocritical as the rest of us.

Strewth mate, can't have that now can we?

That's 'cos we'll have anyone! We're not one of these 'white supremacist' countries like Australia and we're not a load of bigoted, twisted, narrow-minded inbreds like the celtic nations.

rubbish. Graham Hick came to Britain and waited SEVEN years before he could play Test cricket for England as he wanted to do it properly.

Wessels went to Oz as part of the Kerry Packer team and after he stayed there, you Aussies picked him as soon as you could.

Hick was a raw young talent as is Pietersen and England take risks by playing these youngsters. Your lot picked the finished article and there was little risk.

Edit - don't you think it a retrograde step if you used to pick ethnic Australians when there was undoubted racism but now when there is no overt racism you invariably pick an all-white side?

He had no choice but to wait(unless he wanted to play for NZ), Zimbabwe werent playing test cricket then.

And when he did finally play for England he was a finished product.

Personally i didnt like Kepler because he was keeping an Aussie out of the side.

I'd not support Australia taking young player from other nations and making them into aussie players because that doesnt help the sport by taking the talent from other nations and making them weaker.

Added to that it means an aussie kid might miss out on a spot in squads.

My cousin plays for the South Australian Redbacks in One Dayers and i'd not want him to miss a game because of an import.
