I love all things Victorian and edwardian facinating era.
I can look at the IKB railway bridge over the tamar all day and that is being renovated as well.
St Pancras is beautiful and amazing, up there with GCS new York.
Two things have a look in the hotel next time, especially the staircases, and, did you know that the iron pillars on the concourse are spaced apart so that they hold 100 barrels of between stacked and they cant roll away, as the beer was held there when it was bought down from the Burton on Trent breweries.
You could spend a whole weekend learning about the architecture and renovation.
