According to BBC news a moment ago, we (Sussex coast), will wake up tomorrow to 2 to 4 cm settled snow.

North Normandy eg Dieppe will wake to 20 to 40 cm snow.

I cannot recall such a disparity before. That part of France by the Channel is generally no more snowy than us.

Metro France showing a blizzard in the Dieppe area right now and lasting until tomorrow evening.

Just 80 miles away!

Blow .... We miss out.

Heavy light snow in BN22 - if flakes were bigger it would probably be a blizzard.

A259 appears to be buggered as its iced up.

In train terms, it starts somewhere between Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath.

Roads absolute chaos. An hour drive from HH to Crawley. Balcombe road almost at a stand still. A23 looked very slow too.
Good luck all!

Light dusting here in Polegate, about a centimetre lying and snowing light and fluffy stuff a bit. No flumping yet, though.

The term blizzard can be over used and over stated most of the time. And without exaggeration that is what is happening in Southend right now. Can't remember it battering it down so hard like this for years, the wind is so strong

Steady snow falling as I left T Wells at 740. Heavier around Tonbridge but once into London, nothing at all. Seems very patch across the SE. Think we've dodged a lot of it.

Looking like we may well get a more serious dumping later this afternoon and into this evening. Should be fun round about rush-hour.

Have just checked will it rain and it looks like we could be in for serious flumpage most if not all the day, rush hour could be great fun

Yep. Going through BH at around 8.30 and there was just a LIGHTEST of snow in the air.

Got to Wivlesfield and it was stronger.

Arrived at HH and it was a BLIZZARD

Settling readily in Willingdon, not on roads but getting heavier. Apparently afternoon and evening we are in for the heavy stuff.
