Kate had about 15 minutes on Your Hired and Yasmina had about 23 seconds, Yas will disappear and Kate will turn out the eventual winner. This has been a brilliant series will some fantastic contributions, James and Debra were unmissable and Sir Alan is legend even if I very seldom agreed with his decisions.

Pantsman is TV gold and Nick Hewer's casual mention of the cost of sandalwood was just perfect. Best series ever because they didn't choose celebrity hungry wannabees as contestants.

It won't be the same without Margaret

I'm afraid that i have to disagree - whilst the calibre of candidate has been high (once the dross was removed) I felt that it was the most boring series to date - capped off with a very dull final. Nothing interesting ever really happened save the sandalwood cock-up and Kates canapes presentation. A few gags from James and Ben being a smale scale twit did not do enough to raise the series to mediocrity.

I agree about Margaret though - interesting to see what type of person they get to replace her.

Apparently two endings were filmed months ago (contemporaneously with the series) before anyone knew who'd won, one with Kate being 'hired' and one with Yasmina being 'hired', with both of them having to fake the necessary reaction each time without knowing the actual result.

The two of them didn't actually know who had won until last weekend, and the relevant ending was then stuck into the programme.
