Is this a joke thread? I only ask as why would someone who can score goals in the Championship be playing in China

He was only really successful when at Forest. Elsewhere he has been ordinary other than his ability to miss the proverbial barn door with similar shovel.

Money, would be my guess as to why he was in China..... I would certainly have a look at him and have him in to train for a week. At 32 if the hunger and fitness is still there, he is more than capable of doing a job in this division and would take a lot of weight off CMS shoulders.

Most people haven't got a clue..... He's scored quite a few goals at premiership level. Good at holding the ball up and Martin oneill rates him!!!

Would be infinitely better than USELESS Paynter

This for me. Not that fussed but an upgrade on the 'door and he may play lights out to win a year deal in the summer. Would expect we can find someone much better in summer but maybe not in Jan for that role.

We would have to wait until Jan as although his season in china has finished it would be a signing
