I had a lovely sight of the Amex today, cycling the South Downs Way. Gorgeous views from both sides of the valey

Had a rather great view of it myself on Friday evening flying back in to Gatwick.

Just thought I'd share with you all my Sunday visit to our new ground(the Amex/Falmer).I went there today with my wife and two year old boy, went to the main gate and saw a black dude in the office/portacabin,he told us we weren't allowed in as it's still a building site.so we decided to walk round the perimeter just as we got to the new seagulls store there was gate open,so we took it upon ourselves to have a sneaky look round until the same black dude in the office escorted us of the site...!we went right in the stadium in the northeast corner it's very impressive.
Thanks for warning us that it was a black dude.

I'll remember to watch out for that type of dude in the future.

I went to the ground yesterday just for a look.

I only intended going for 10 minutes, but got chatting to other people who were doing the same, and ended up spending an hour there. I found out that Nigel Erskine is slowly on the mend. I found out that a Leyton Orient director, David Dodd, came down while I was there or a look around, and came away mightily impressed. In comparison to what he has to work with, it's not surprising, I suppose.

I also found that security at the northern (railway) end gate was non-existent as joggers were jogging around the stadium perimeter without being challenged.
