It's all about the cliques.

Have too admit even i who could be accused of posting a fair amount of shite previously and occasionally now got fed up with various tales of a night at the Event 2. but i suppose it's a while since i was 16 so have moved on from these posts.

Noticed how after six posts I fail to see how you can formulate an opinion, when required all the news about the albion is posted here, but when ther eis no news we talk about other things, like birds titties etc.

there is only so much albion info swindonseagull, so when people are bored theyll come on here and waste away time that they are getting paid for (ie at work). just get a life swindon seagull, and come back when you have got a few more posts in ure post count. :salute:

At no point did I suggest that he was les sof a fan but with a small amount of posts he's obviously not been here long enough to know that when there is new it is discusse din great length but when there isn't which is the case today we post cack which I find entertaining which is why I am here.

If you don't like it go to Always SKint who don't have the banter just football news and boring discussion. then you''ll get the real news much later as it always comes into NSC first.

Perhaps we could leave it as it is but have a seperate forum that the admins can copy all football related threads to.

That way the boring ****s dont have to go into the main forum.

That's a really good idea. Can this be done?

If a mod sees a football related thread it can be 'tagged' and then it'll appear in another forum too?

Yeha there seems to be a few insiders who go on NSC, news appears here a few hours before the official site!:clap2:

Not the real one
The fact that when nothing is happening at the club or that the topics of BHAFC have been exhausted, people feel free to discuss other topics makes this the one of the best internet football forums. There is often between 150 to 200 people logged on at any one time and if you conpare that to other football club websites you'll see that NSC beats the Premiership club boards and many others.
I agree there is alot of crap but thats just an opinion of yours and anyone else to have. I choose not to post on topics just for the sake of it but on ones that interest me. There is a wide age group on here (as a poll indicated) mostly between 20-40yrs, but some teenagers and people in their 50's and 60's. Therefore you are bound to get a large variation on topics.
This board is mainly devoted to The Albion and is often first on information about the club way before the Offical site. So if there's something you want to take part in then do, if you find a topic stupid and lame then ingnore it. No probs and a warm welcome and hello to you Swindon.

If you insist on turning NSC into an Albion only related forum it will very soon become totally boring, there simply isn't enough Albion news to keep enough of a debate going.

What's more, there will be none of the ' Is my girlfriend a slut ? ' type threads, no-one will know what kind of cheese, music, sandwhich, chocolate bar, sex, etc we each prefer, what we think of Alan Pardew, Neil Warnock, Phil Prosser, Watford O, Dwayne, etc and I think NSC would be the poorer for that.

It'll end up like the SCR phone-in, with people discussing the quality of stitching on the replica shorts sold by the club shop, or other such rivetting topics.

No-one is suggesting that nor even insisting on it...

I have to disagree - Always Skint carries very little Albion discussion at all. I don't think too many of their small usergroup actually go to Albion games very often.

You're right though - the small amount of football talk that appears on there is generally sourced from NSC. This has been highlighted on a couple of occasions where someone posted something on NSC that was wrong and someone posted it on Always Skint as if it were gospel. Laugh? Not me.

It's the variety of chat that has made NSC such a success over the years. If you don't like it it's easy, don't visit.

Talking about always skint is that fake illiterate still there, you know, the one who can spell bad english perfectly?

Please don't take too much offence at the ribbing you're getting. I for one have my tounge firmly in cheek when I make comments relating post count to stature. It's an argument that pops up now and again with 'newbies' and the regulars are well rehersed in their wind-up reactions.

What you have to accept straight away is that NSC is not a football-only board. Never has been, never will be. Agreed today is particularly bad for some reason, probably because it's a Friday and there's not really much football news about, but the beauty of the place is that it doesn't conform to the Rivals/Football Forums formula.

Rest assured, come tomorrow it will be swarming with news on the Swindon/England games and you'll do well to find an off-topic until at least Monday.

You ARE welcome to NSC, everyone is. You just have to remember that this isn't your average football message board, and that's what makes it so f***ing good.

Who knows, maybe one day YOU will have 1,000 posts and will be able to count yourself among the NSC elite.

To The Albion.
