I'm totally unconvinced by Adams, but he needs time, hence my vote for the fence. Get rid of the favouritism towards Hawkins and Virgo and we might be in a much better place. However, ten points from ten games is relegation form.
I'm a huge Dean Wilkins fan (for what I saw on the pitch and not went on off of it) and Adams has done nothing (except for Man City) to convince me otherwise.
My heart still says out, my head tells me we're stuck with him. He's dismantled Wilkins team and I imagine spent most of the budget for the season. In his defence he's brought in better players but doesn't seem to have a clue how to play them or substitute them and I getting f***ing pissed off with throwing away points with ridiculous late goals because he hasn't had the balls to go for a convincing win.
I get the impression he's not half the manager he used to be because the ambition has gone now he knows he's not as good as he thought he might be. He would not be back here if he was half as good as he thought when he walked out on us.
Hated Wilkins, but Adams is going down that route with some utterly SPASTIC decisions.
fence..because I believe that he CAN improve. Whether he will or not remains to be seen, but at the moment, we're looking at a relegation battle rather than a play-off push.
