Seems in the mood today - that was his fourth shot at goal already!

In other news, Barco is starting for Strasbourg.
Is Barco still a loan? I thought he got sold to Strasbourg (or at least off at the end of the season)

Ipswich take on Brentford today (3:00) - can agent Enciso do us a favour?

Edit: sadly not.

As the loanee activity winds down, two of ours are involved in Ligue 1 in France this evening.
Strasbourg (Valentin Barco - starts) are away at Angers;
Brest (Abdallah Sima - on the bench) are at home to Lille.
(Both at 8:00).

Today - in the Eredivise:
Ibrahim Osman is on the bench for Feyenoord (at home to PSV).
Later (2:15) in the Premier League:
Will this be the day that Evan Ferguson suddenly springs back to life? He'll have to wait a bit - starting on the bench;
Leicester away to ManU - and still old Horse-face can't bear to start Buonanotte in his award winning line-up. Bench.

Now the season's over for most of them - the EFL loans at least - how did they do? What did the fans of the clubs they went to think of them?

Blackpool fans' forum stream full of praise for Odel Offiah -

Barco handballed yesterday to concede a penalty from which Le Havre scored their first of three goals to secure safety and deny Strasbourg European football - for now anyway, if PSG win the cup they’ll get Conference League football.

Bouncing thread - but with Boscgoli (and potential others) we’ll have 50 (ish) players going into the summer and that’s not including Howell, Simmonds, Tasker & Knight in the 21s. Some balancing act required!

Yup, something probably needed to give last summer, it definitely does this. Our squad is huge.

Boscogli? Really?

In other news, Scherpen and Yalcouye (GK of the year and young player of the year) are going great guns in Austria -

- and, for the record, the Albion's official bulletin on loanee news -

I wonder if we’d promote Scherpen to first-choice keeper if these rumours about Bart being wanted by various clubs were true?

I’ve only ever seen him warm up as sub-keeper for us at Anfield in 21-22, and I’m sold based on his stature alone. He must absolutely dominate his box.

Everything's possible of course, but I don't think we'd have seen him bumped off to the Austrian Bundesliga if he'd been a serious contender - surely at least we would have tried to see how he did in the Championship, the pathway followed by Rushworth and Beadle. Yalcouye is different - still very young and an obvious candidate for a season to earn to play in England (The Championship) to acclimatise before the 2026 pre-season.

How do Feyenoord fans rate Osman? Are we likely to see him in our squad next year?
Not much to go on really. Played in about 2/3 of the league matches, some as a sub, and scored three goals. OK, but not setting the world alight.
Fans forum view seems to bear this out - make of it what you will -
